Measuring instrument of temperature of a cooling liquid (1)
The measuring instrument functions only at the included ignition, accepting working position with some delay. At a cold cooling liquid of the marksman of the device is in the bottom part of a scale. The normal working range of temperature lies in limits from 70°С to 110°С. In hot weather, and also at loading increase on the engine the temperature of a cooling liquid can rise up to the top limit of a normal working range of a scale. However, at all it is not necessary to suppose calling of an arrow of a measuring instrument in the site of a display scale painted in red colour. Transition by an arrow of the top admissible value testifies to an engine overheat. The car in this case should be stopped and, without suppressing the engine, to include on a total power a heater and the heater fan, then to check up liquid level in a broad tank of system of cooling and to make sure of serviceability of operation of the fan blowing a radiator. If the fan does not function, or liquid level in a broad tank has fallen below admissible value, the engine should be muffled immediately. If the liquid and the fan is perfectly in order, movement can be continued, but only provided that the arrow of the index has returned to area of admissible values. Otherwise the engine also should be switched off.
At normal level of a cooling liquid the reason of an overheat of the engine refusal of the fan of system of cooling can be. Check up a condition of a corresponding safety lock, in case of need make replacement. If refusal of the electromotor of the fan, or its failure крыльчатки takes place, movement can be renewed after a while (provided that level of a cooling liquid is in norm), and the car should be driven away on the nearest car repair shop. Whereas at the faulty fan efficiency of functioning of a radiator will be defined only by speed of a running stream, it is necessary to try to move on good (but not too high) speeds, having reduced to a minimum movement накатом.

Inclusion of the additional headlights established under a lattice of a radiator reduces efficiency of functioning of the last and can lead to an engine overheat in hot weather, or at movement with the raised loading. |
Speedometers/counters of kilometric area (2)
The speedometer has analogue execution. Unit of division of a scale of a dial makes 10 km/h. In the top half of field of a dial the drum of the counter of the general run of the car is located from the moment of its release from the conveyor (одометра). Located under an arrow axis the drum-type counter registers kilometric area of a current trip. Zeroing of the counter of kilometric area of current run is carried out by means of built in in the bottom part of a dial of a speedometer of the handle.
Tachometre (3)
The device registers frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine in 1000 rpm. At all do not suppose calling of an arrow of a measuring instrument in red sector of a scale of a dial. Remember that timely switching on higher transfer promotes economy of the expense of fuel and decrease in level of noise of the power unit.
Avoid excessive increase of turns of the engine during time обкатки the car.
Strelochnye hours (3)
On some models instead of a tachometre an analogue watch is included in a combination of devices. The handle of installation of time is located on the right under a dial of hours.

Hours with digital indication (4)
The display of a digital watch is built in in the field of a tachometre dial. The handle of installation of time is located on the right under the measuring instrument block. Handle rotation current hour counter-clockwise gets out, for installation of minutes the handle should be turned to the right. Try not to press excessively at time adjustment the handle in order to avoid regulator failure.

Measuring instrument of the expense of fuel (5)
The measuring instrument is activated only at the included ignition. The exit of an arrow of the device into position occurs to some time delay. It is necessary to remember that the volume of a fuel tank at carburettor models makes about 47 l, on equipped with system of injection of fuel models - only 42 l.
Deviations of indications of a measuring instrument and short-term inclusion of a control lamp of a stock of fuel during fulfilment of maneuvers is connected with moving of level of a surface of fuel to a tank and should not cause anxiety.
Constant inclusion of a control lamp testifies to the termination of a stock of fuel. Thus in a tank remains about 6 l of fuel.
Ambient temperature measuring instrument
The digital display of a measuring instrument is built in in the left part of the panel of devices. The range of measurements lies in limits from-45°S to +50°С. Выcandlesивание real value of temperature of air it is made with a delay about 5 minutes. During parking, or at movement with small speed of the indication of a measuring instrument can be a little overestimated at the expense of influence on the gauge of heat allocated with the engine.

Control lamp ABS (9)

The lamp lights up for short time (together with the indicator of level of a brake liquid) each time at ignition inclusion. If after some seconds after start of the engine the lamp does not go out, infringement of functioning of system of antiblocking of brakes (ABS) hence takes place. The last concerns also cases of full refusal of a lamp from inclusion, or to its inclusion during movement. Refusal of antiblocking system confirmed with the indicator means that car braking will be carried out without ABS, in a usual mode. The given fact should be considered at management of a vehicle. At the first possibility the car should be driven away on a firm car repair shop of company Skoda for carrying out of diagnostics of system and performance of necessary repair. |

Check up a condition and effort of a tension of a belt of a drive of the generator. As the same belt puts in action the water pump of system of cooling, in case of its breakage or tension easing it is impossible to continue movement. Adjust or replace a belt.
If the belt is perfectly in order, the car should be driven away on the nearest car repair shop. To avoid a full discharge of the battery, disconnect all onboard consumers of the electric power which functioning is not vital during movement. |
Control lamp of raising of a lay brake (14)

The indicator is activated at the included ignition and warns the driver about necessity отпускания a lay brake before a start of motion. At release a control lever of a lay brake the indicator dies away. |
Control lamp of pressure of oil (15)

|
The indicator lights up for short time at inclusion of ignition and should go out after successful start of the engine. Otherwise, and also in case of operation of a control lamp during movement, stop the car and muffle the engine. Check up engine oil level. In case of need make corresponding updating.
If level of impellent oil in norm, it is not necessary to continue movement. The engine cannot be started even on single turns. Address for the help in the nearest car repair shop.

Operation of a control lamp can is caused also by fall of turns of the engine below the normal single. In this case for switching-off of the indicator will squeeze out slightly an accelerator pedal enough, or to switch РКПП to lower transfer.
The control lamp of pressure of oil should not be considered as the indicator of level of the last! Told means that engine oil level should be checked regularly and without dependence from indications of the indicator of pressure. |

Control lamp of system of pillows of safety (16)

|
At serviceable system of pillows of safety the indicator lights up for 4 seconds during ignition inclusion, then should go out. Otherwise, and also in case of operation of a control lamp during movement in system malfunction and the car takes place it is necessary to drive away on the nearest firm car repair shop of company Skoda.
If on appropriate amount of the equipped model after 4 seconds after ignition inclusion the control lamp continues to blink with an interval in 2 seconds within 16 seconds, malfunction in a chain of a pillow of safety of a forward passenger seat hence takes place. |
Control lamp of a stock of fuel (17)

The indicator starts to work at the approach by the end of a stock of fuel in a fuel tank. When the control lamp ceases to blink and starts to burn constantly, in a tank remains about 6 l of fuel. |

Remember that using lighting and alarm devices should be carried out according to norms ПДД and federal laws.
At opening of any of forward doors of the car the special alarm buzzer will warn the driver about necessity to switch off external lighting devices. The buzzer functions even at the switched off ignition. For switching-off of a buzzer it is enough to slam both lobbies of a door that allows to carry out in case of need a parking of the car with included dimensional fires. |
