L models 1.3

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. In system of cooling of the engine of considered models of cars the radiator of tubular type with a horizontal stream of the cooling liquid, let out under the licence of French company Sofica is established. The radiator General view is presented on an illustration.
2. The radiator heat exchanger represents a set of horizontally located aluminium tubes, both ends connected to plastic lateral capacities. Connections are executed by a method запрессовки, and places of joints герметизированы by means of the rubber linings planted on special paste.
3. In the bottom Part of the right lateral capacity the branch pipe of tap of a cooling liquid from a radiator is located, and over it the aperture under landing of the thermosensitive gauge-switch is provided.
4. In the top part of the left lateral capacity there is a branch pipe of a supply of a cooling liquid, under it - a branch pipe connecting a radiator with a broad tank.
5. The bases of both lateral capacities through rubber pillows the radiator leans against a cross-section beam передка the car.
6. The upper edge of a radiator two bolts М6х12 fastens to the top cross-section beam передка.
7. Thanks to applied materials the radiator has insignificant weight and possesses the big external and internal corrosion stability in comparison with radiators of traditional type. On manufacturer all radiators are without fail put on trial on tightness for what in the heat exchanger the compressed air which pressure exceeds operational values moves.


Models 1.6 of l without air central air

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

On models without К/В, 1.6 l equipped with the engine are used a radiator of manufacture of company Autopal of the increased size (285х590). Both branch pipes are on the left side of a radiator, the liquid moves in a horizontal direction.


Diesel models without К/В and petrol models 1.6 of l with К/В

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the given models the radiator of manufacture AKG of type ML3 with dimensions 322х590 and tubes of oval section is used. A radiator двухрядный, with a horizontal stream of a liquid.
2. The scheme of fastening of a radiator is a little changed: in the bottom part inflow which rubber pillows are put on are provided. Then the radiator refuels in кузовные apertures. From above two plastic clips with bolts М6 are provided.

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

If radiator removal is made for the purpose of revealing of a source of leak, remember that small thinnesses can be eliminated in situ with application special радиаторного hermetic.

Disconnect a negative wire from the battery, then empty cooling system.


Petrol models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Release fixing collars and...

... Disconnect from a radiator the top and bottom hoses. On l models 1.3 also disconnect a hose of a broad tank.

2. Disunite electroconducting sockets drive the motor and the gauge-switch of the fan of system of cooling. Liberate electroconducting from clamps on the case of a radiator and a fan casing.

3. Turn out bolts of fastening of a radiator to the top cross-section beam передка the car (in the given beam the latch of the lock of a cowl is built in).

4. Having removed from the bottom support, take a radiator from an impellent compartment...

... Try not to lose rubber pillows of the bottom support.

On some models for the purpose of maintenance of sufficient working space it is necessary отболтить and to remove the intensifying bar connecting the top cross-section beam передка with a forward skirt.


Diesel models

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Release a collar and disconnect from a radiator the top hose.
2. Turn out a fastening bolt on the arm охладительной tubes of the bottom hose. Release a collar, disconnect a tube from a hose of a casing of the thermostat and take it from an impellent compartment.
3. Remove assemblage of the fan of system of cooling (the Section Check of serviceability of functioning, removal, installation, dismantling and assemblage of the fan of system of cooling see).
4. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge-switch of the fan of system of cooling screwed in a radiator.
5. On the models equipped with system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel, отболтите the tank of a hydraulic liquid from a cross-section beam also clean it aside from a radiator. In avoidance разбрызгивания liquids try not to incline the tank excessively.
6. Turn out bolts of fastening of a radiator to the top cross-section beam передка the car (with a latch of the lock of a cowl).
7. Remove a radiator from the bottom support and take it from an impellent compartment. At once remove rubber pillows of the bottom support.


Condition check


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. If the suspicion in infringement of passableness of its heat exchanger became the reason of removal of a radiator, it is necessary to make it обратнопоточную washing. A soft brush (do not cut about edges of plates fingers) clean backlashes between plates of the heat exchanger of a radiator. In the presence of access to a source of compressed air, blow backlashes (do not forget to put on goggles).

Remember that fragile plates of the heat exchanger of a radiator at casual handling can easily appear are damaged!

2. In case of need on a car repair shop it is possible to make "flowing" check of a radiator on presence of blocking of internal channels.
3. Repair of the radiator which has lost tightness should be carried out only in the conditions of a specialised workshop. Attempts to correct a situation by means of a soldering iron will lead only to damage of plastic components.
4. In an extreme situation insignificant leaks of a cooling liquid from a radiator can be suspended by means of special hermetic without extraction of a radiator from the car (in situ). Follow instructions on hermetic application.
5. Before radiator sending in repair shop remove from it the fan gauge-switch.
6. Check up a condition of rubber pillows of support of a radiator. In case of need make replacement.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is made in an order, the return to a dismantle order. Special attention give to following moments:

a) Track correctness of gearing of a radiator in assemblages of the bottom support. Strongly tighten fixing bolts.
b) Track correctness of connection and reliability of fastening by collars of all hoses.
c) In summary do not forget to make refuelling of system of cooling.
