Structure and design

The carburettor is intended for preparation of an air-fuel mix and its dosed out giving in chambers of combustion depending on current loading and engine turns.

Used for a complete set of considered models of the car carburettor Pierburg 2E3/Jikov 28-30 LEKR is equipped by the semi-automatic system of start providing reliable start of the engine in all temperature conditions typical for a midland, and also allows to begin movement right after cold start. Number defining a mode of functioning of semiautomatics of start of factors concern:

a) air Temperature;
b) Temperature of a cooling liquid of the engine;
c) Depth of depression in the inlet pipeline.

After start of the engine mix pauperisation is made in two stages at serviceable functioning of system start the maximum from the second attempt even in frosty weather is made with the first, at air temperature-20°S.

The carburettor design is presented on illustrations. Following devices concern number of the basic components of the carburettor:

a) the Semi-automatic starting arrangement;
b) the System of idling providing stability of turns of idling of the engine (800 ÷ 850 in a minute);
c) the Transitive system chambers I providing smooth increase of turns of the engine at opening throttle заслонки II;
d) System of enrichment of an air-fuel mix (эконостатом) at full loading;
e) the Accelerating pump мембранного type with a mechanical drive;
f) Electromagnetic запорный the valve blocking giving of fuel in the carburettor after deenergizing of ignition, and also at operation экономайзера compulsory idling (ЭПХ);
g) Poplavkovaja the chamber supporting set level of fuel in the carburettor.

Under the needle valve поплавковой chambers the filtering element which grid makes thin clearing of fuel submitted to the carburettor settles down.

In the needle valve there is a small spring against which the ball which is partially coming out leans. Being deformed, a spring демпфирует jerks of the lever of a float at fast movement of the car. Thanks to such adjustment fuel level in поплавковой to the chamber is supported to constants.

The valve needle is covered by the high-strength structure Viton, different special durability. Thanks to such covering high tightness of landing of knot is provided. The needle valve is calculated approximately on 150 000 km of run and additional regular service does not require.

At lowering of level of fuel in the chamber the float falls downwards and slightly opens the needle valve. Thus in the chamber the necessary additional quantity of fuel is pumped up. The i
