Service of assemblage of an air cleanerThe air cleaner case fastens to a cover of the carburettor three nuts М5. Tightness of connection is provided with a sealing lining which nestles a metal overlay. The same overlay the air cleaner case nestles. In addition the case fastens nut М6, наворачиваемой on the bolt welded to fixed on head of cylinders to an arm.
From above the air cleaner case is closed by a cover which fastens four nuts М4, наворачиваемым on the bolts fixed in the case, and six spring clamps pressing edges of a cover to the case.
The filtering element is executed from the microporous paper combined by an accordion for the purpose of development of a useful area. On manufacturer the air cleaner is completed with a filtering element of manufacture of company Sandrik (type of an element 95 015 0173 01). From above and from below the element is covered by the plastic guards of the corresponding form providing tightness of its landing in the case of an air cleaner. Degree of clearing of air such filter reaches 99.9 %.
Air cleaner service consists in periodic cleaning (through each 10 000 km of run) and replacement (through each 20 000 km) a filtering element. At operation of the car in the conditions of the raised dust content or impurity of atmosphere service intervals should be cut by half.
On each litre of the burnt fuel it is required to the engine nearby 10 ÷ 12 l of air. The expense of air necessary for production by the engine of capacity of an order 1 kw makes 80 l/minutes Thus, the condition of air soaked up in the engine gets especially great value.
Level of impurity of air depends on remoteness from industrial targets, a condition of a road covering, weather conditions and intensity of traffic. Even at car movement on a highway with high speed and on considerable removal from settlements there is an intensive pollution of the air filter in view of hit, for example, the particles of rubber accumulating on road as a result истирания of protectors of tyres.
The conducted operational researches show that at operation of cars on roads without a firm covering, and also in large settlements where air pollution degree is rather high, clearing of a filtering element of an air cleaner should be carried out through each 2000 km of run, and its replacement - through everyone 7 ÷ 8 thousand in km.
Pollution of the air filter leads to decrease in capacity developed by the engine, growth of consumption of fuel (to 15 %), to maintenance substantial increase in the fulfilled gases of toxic components, and also разжижению engine oil not burnt down fuel.
Infringement of tightness of landing of an air cleaner, decrease in efficiency of its functioning (usually as a result of application of low-standard working elements), can become the reason of premature deterioration of the engine. Operation of the car without the air filter is not admissible at all.
Procleaning of a filtering element is made as follows:
a) Give a key on 10 mm four nuts М6 of fastening of a cover of an air cleaner;
b) Release six spring clamps located on perimetre, uncover and take from the case filtering element;
c) Blow the removed working element the compressed air in a direction from the centre outside (it is possible to take advantage also of a usual vacuum cleaner, soaking up air on external perimetre of an element);
d) Carefully wipe an internal surface of the case of an air cleaner, having removed accumulated dust and mud adjournment - accept safety measures against dirt hit in an air mouth of the carburettor (закупорьте its rags);
e) At installation of a cover of an air cleaner track, that the label put to it has appeared is located opposite to an entrance branch pipe of an air cleaner.
At replacement of a filtering element it is necessary to operate also as well as at its removal for clearing (the previous paragraph see).
Removal of assemblage of an air cleaner is made in a following order:
a) Uncover an air cleaner and take filtering element;
b) Give nut М6 of fastening of assemblage of the case to an arm on a head of cylinders;
c) Give three nuts М5 of fastening of the case of an air cleaner to the carburettor (try that they have not fallen in an air mouth of the last).
d) Remove a metal overlay;
e) Oslabte a bolt of a collar of fastening of a rubber sleeve on the end of an inlet air line of the case of an air cleaner;
f) Raise the air cleaner case upwards and remove it from a landing flange of the carburettor;
g) Disconnect the end of a sleeve of a supply of the warmed-up air. Remove a sleeve together with a small knee in which it is fixed from a ledge on an inlet branch pipe of an air cleaner;
At air cleaner installation into place track, that the ledge on a metal overlay has entered into reciprocal deepening of the lining established between the case and the carburettor.
Access to the thermostat located in an air cleaner, opens after removal of a cover of the last. From time to time it is necessary to check serviceability of functioning of the thermostat (i.e. operations of its valve at трах more low 20 ÷ 25°С and above 25 ÷ 35°С.
Most easier to make check of serviceability of functioning of the thermostat of an air cleaner by means of the ordinary hair dryer for drying of hair. Direct a stream of warm air on the thermostat and make sure that it causes diaphragm moving.
The diaphragm of the damaged thermostat remains motionless. If such malfunction takes place, there is an essential increase in the expense of fuel.
For more detailed check of a condition of the thermostat prepare deep capacity with water in temperature 30 ÷ 35°С. Further operate as follows:
a) Ship the air cleaner case in water in vertical position so that the inlet branch pipe has appeared is directed upwards. At maximum заглублении the water level should reach edge of an aperture of an admission of warm air (the cut should be no more than on 1 ÷ 2 sm above a water level);
b) After a minute make sure that the diaphragm has occupied the position corresponding перекрыванию of giving of the warmed-up air;
c) Make sure that in process of cooling of water the thermostat provides gradual opening of an air line of a supply of warm air and blocks a supply of the cold. For simplicity the thermostat should be suspended by means of a wire or a string piece. The minimum temperature of operation of a diaphragm makes 20°С (hold near at hand the thermometer). At fast decrease in a water temperature transition of a diaphragm from one position in another should occupy no more than minute. Excessive pollution of assemblage which should to try be eliminated otherwise takes place.
