On all models of cars of the considered mark the system of cooling of the closed type, working under pressure is used. Into system structure enter the water pump which drive on l models 1.6 is carried out from газораспределительного a belt, and on other - from auxiliary, the radiator of a cross-section-line design made of aluminium, the electric fan, the thermostat, the heater heat exchanger, and also all connecting armature and electric switches. The cold cooling liquid from a radiator on the bottom hose arrives in the water pump which provides its giving in galleries of the block and a head of cylinders (and also in the heat exchanger of a heater of salon). After selection of heat from surfaces of cylinders, chambers of combustion and saddles of the valves, the cooling liquid reaches the bottom part of the thermostat which in an initial condition is closed. Further, the cooling liquid passes through the heater heat exchanger then comes back back to the water pump.
The function chart of system of cooling of the engine is presented on an accompanying illustration. The cooling system functions as follows: the centrifugal water pump through bottom радиаторный a hose is taken away cold by a cooling liquid from the bottom part of a radiator and under a pressure pumps over it through galleries of a water shirt of the block and a head of cylinders, and at a corresponding complete set also through the heat exchanger маслоохладителя. Having selected heat from cylinders, chambers of combustion and saddles of valves, the liquid gets to the bottom part of the thermostat which valve at a stage of warming up of the engine remains buried, and then opens. Besides the engine cooling, the cooling liquid is used also for heating of salon of the car. With that end in view the heater heat exchanger is included in a path of system of cooling, passing through which, the liquid comes back back in the block of cylinders.
While the engine has not got warm to some certain temperature, the cooling liquid continues to circulate on a short contour, passing only through the block and a head of cylinders, and also through the heater heat exchanger. As soon as the engine temperature reaches the established value, there is a thermostat opening therefore the radiator is connected to a contour of circulation of a liquid. In a radiator there is конвективная a return of heat from a liquid to a running stream of air which efficiency is defined by the developed area of edges of the heat exchanger of a radiator and speed of an air stream flowing round them. It is in case of need provided additional having blown in a radiator at the expense of inclusion of the electric fan of system of cooling. On reaching a liquid of the bottom cavity of a radiator, the cycle repeats.
The electric fan which functioning the thermosensitive gauge-switch of system of cooling operates, is established behind a radiator. As soon as the temperature of a cooling liquid reaches some established value, there is a fan inclusion therefore having blown in the radiator heat exchanger increases that conducts to efficiency increase теплоотдачи.
