1. The privodnoj cable of a lay brake consists of two separate main sections: right and left, back wheels directly connecting brake mechanisms with a control lever a lay brake. Each of sections can be removed and replaced in an individual order.
2. For the purpose of providing of access to a control lever a lay brake remove back section of the central console. On models without the console remove a decorative cover of the lever.
3. Release контрящую and adjusting nuts and liberate the forward end of a cable subject to dismantle from a plate of the equalizer of the lever.
4. Prop up wedges forward wheels, then поддомкратьте a back of the car and establish it on props. Remove a corresponding back wheel.
5. Remove a drum of the corresponding brake mechanism (see Has undressed Removal, check of a condition and installation of drums of brake mechanisms of back wheels).
6. A screw-driver with a flat sting liberate the executive lever of a drive of a lay brake from a back part of a brake boot. Disconnect a cable from the lever and pass its tip through an aperture in a brake board.
7. Moving along a cable, liberate it from intermediate clamps and bandages. Try to remember a route of a lining of a cable. Damaged in the course of removal of a cable clamps replace. |
