Removal, partition and installation of the power unit
REMOVAL
|
1. Park the car on an equal horizontal platform with a firm covering so that around remains enough free space. Remove a cowl (the Assembly order of the engine after major repairs performance see the Head).
2. If the engine understands, merge engine oil and remove the oil filter. Smooth out, screw into place and strongly tighten a drain stopper of the pallet картера.
3. Prop up wedges back wheels and strongly cock a lay brake. Поддомкратьте car redock, having lifted it on sufficient for dismantle of the power unit height. Reliably fix the lifted vehicle on strong props. Remove both lobbies of a wheel.
4. Merge трансмиссионное oil, then carefully smooth out, screw into place and tighten a drain stopper.
5. Empty cooling system.

6. Отболтите a reception pipe of system of release of the fulfilled gases also disconnect it from a flange of a final collector. On petrol models "walk" on electroconducting from a l-probe to a socket and disconnect the gauge. Liberate a socket from a basic arm. |
|
7. According to the instructions resulted in the Head the Transmission, disconnect from РКПП a rod of a choice of transfers and a bar of the mechanism of switching. |
8. Remove an air cleaner (or only the air inlet sleeve) - see a corresponding Part of the Head the Power supply system. On petrol models 1.3 of l and 1.6 l equipped with system of distributed injection (MPFI), uncover throttle cases.
9. Disconnect the storage battery and remove the generator.

10. Turning counter-clockwise an adjusting nut of a drive of coupling, it is maximum ослабьте a cable. Liberate the core of a cable from the lever of deenergizing of coupling, and a cover - from the basic arm. Отболтите a basic arm of a cable also remove it together with the grounding tyre (if last is provided). |

11. Give a fixing nut with lateral накатом, then extend upwards a cable of a drive of a speedometer for the purpose of a conclusion of a drive from gearing with a back part of a transmission. Alternatively, turn out a bolt of a fixing plate and take приводную a gear wheel from a box. |

12. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge-switch of fires of the backing located from below under a forward part картера РКПП. At a corresponding complete set, liberate electroconducting of the gauge-switch from a clamp on starter assemblage. |
13. Shift back from the main plug of the traction relay of a starter a rubber protective cover, then give a nut and disconnect from the plug a wire going from the battery. Accurately disunite a bayonet socket of the traction relay.

14. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge-switch of pressure of oil. On petrol models the gauge-switch is located from below on a forward wall of the block of cylinders (l model 1.3, or in a back part of a head of cylinders (model 1.6, on diesel models - at the left end face of a head. |

15. Disconnect электропроводкуот the gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid (CTS), the thermostat located on a casing, or a cranked branch pipe охладительного a path (the gauge is established on a branch pipe)... |
|

|
... And the electromotor of the fan of system of cooling. |
16. On models with the hydraulic booster of a wheel or К/В remove a belt of a drive of auxiliary units.
17. On equipped К/В models execute following procedures:
a) Disconnect a hose from a vacuum receiver;
b) Disconnect electroconducting from compressor K/V;
c) Otboltite the compressor from the engine, take him aside and strongly tie up. Try not to admit a tension of hoses of refrigerator lines.
18. On models with the wheel hydraulic booster remove the steering pump (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head). There is no necessity to disconnect hydraulic lines, it is enough not to subject only to their excessive loadings at pump displacement. The pump should be established so that lines could not be damaged in the course of removal of the power unit. |

Petrol models
|
|
1. On models 1.3 of l with the central injection (SPFI) disconnect from the inlet pipeline/case of a throttle following lines of communication:
a) Hoses of giving and fuel return;
b) Electroconducting of the case of a throttle (release bandages, liberate a plait from intermediate clamps and take him aside);
c) the Cable of a drive throttle заслонки (a gas cable);
d) the Hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes;
e) Hoses охладительного a path;
f) the Hose of a purge of a coal adsorber;
g) Electroconducting CTS. |

2. On models 1.3 of l and 1.6 l with the distributed injection (MPFI) disconnect:
a) Hoses of giving and return of fuel from a regulator of pressure of fuel;
b) the Vacuum hose from a regulator of pressure of fuel;
c) power supply system Electroconducting (release bandages, liberate plaits from intermediate clamps and take them aside);
d) Electroconducting of the gauge of temperature/pressure of soaked up air;
e) On l models 1.3 - electroconducting of the block of the coil of ignition; |
|
f) the Hose of a purge of a coal adsorber;
g) the Hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from the inlet pipeline;
h) Electroconducting of the gauge of a detonation on the back party of the block of the engine.
i) On the models equipped К/В, отболтите the compressor also shift it aside from the engine, at all without disconnecting any refrigerator lines.
j) Liberate hoses/tubes of a refrigerator path from intermediate clamps and also take them aside from the engine. |

3. Disconnect electroconducting of the gauge of the Hall. On l models 1.3 the 3-contact electric socket is established or in an arm fixed on a casing of the thermostat, or from above on картере transmissions. On models 1.6 of l the socket of electroconducting of the gauge is on the ignition distributor. |
4. If have not done it earlier, disconnect electroconducting from the ignition coil.
5. Uncover the distributor, бегунок and a filter. |

Diesel models
|
1. Disconnect a hose of the servo-driver of the amplifier of brakes from the vacuum pump (the Brake system see the Head).
2. Disconnect a vacuum hose from valve EGR (the Power supply system see the Head).
|
3. As required execute following procedures (the Part the Power supply system of the diesel engine of the Head of the Power supply system see):
a) Release and turn out hollow bolts штуцерных connections, then disconnect hoses of giving and return of fuel from ТНВД;
b) Release a fixing collar and disconnect a hose of prorolling of atomizers from port on the union of return of fuel;
c) Release collars and remove an inlet air hose from a cover of the inlet pipeline;
d) Disconnect a cable of gas from ТНВД;
e) Disconnect electroconducting from valves EGR and stabilisation of turns of idling in a back part of an impellent compartment. Try to remember adjusting position of sockets; |
|
f) Disconnect a multicontact socket of a plait of the electroconducting, located under the top support of the left rack of a forward suspension bracket; the Socket has carving landing and for it рассоединения it is necessary to turn a casing. Having dismembered connection, take internal consolidation. Pay attention to presence of directing marks of the red colour defining an order of a joint of a socket. In order to avoid hit in a socket of a moisture and a dirt turn its both half in a polyethylene film; |
g) Disunite two electric sockets, established in an arm on an engine left-hand side. Also disconnect located hardly above a grounding wire. Wrap halves of the disunited sockets in a polyethylene film;

h) Where it is required, disunite a socket of a plait of electroconducting of the generator. |
|
|
All models
|
1. Following the instructions resulted in Heads the Electric equipment of the engine and the Power supply system, identify sites of electroconducting of systems of an electric equipment of the engine, ignition and a food which remain connected to gauges and actuation mechanisms on the block of the power unit. Disunite all remained disturbing to dismantle of the power unit sockets, preliminary accurately marking them about correctness подстыковки at assemblage.
2. Depending on model, the power unit can be equipped by one or more tyres of grounding. Tyres usually fasten or on картере transmissions, near to the right support of the unit, or in the basis of a directing tube probeа measurements of level of impellent oil. Disconnect all tyres.
3. Take from differential of transmission power shafts. In order to avoid damage of SHRUS at once tie up the liberated ends of shaft a wire to suspension bracket elements.
4. Will hang out the power unit with the help лебедки or beams, completely having removed its weight from support, but without breaking horizontal position of an arrangement. As extraction of the unit from an impellent compartment is made through the bottom aperture, from below it will prop up unreasonably.
5. In order to avoid pallet damage картера, enclose under an impellent compartment an old floor floor-mat, plywood, or simply sheet of a cardboard. After lowering the unit is necessary for displacing forward, having spent under a bumper for the purpose of definitive extraction from under the car, therefore very opportunely there will be a presence near at hand тележечного a jack.

6. Turn out a through bolt of a back support of the power unit - the Part And or In the present Head see. |
|
7. Mark adjusting position of the left support of a transmission. Give самоконтрящуюся a nut, two bolts and remove a plate of a support from the top part of a pillow. |
|
8. On l models 1.3 take rubber заглушку from a right mudguard, |
|
Having provided with that access to a through bolt of the right support. Give a nut and take a bolt. |
9. On diesel models and l models 1.6 turn out from below two bolts of the right support directly over a pulley of a cranked shaft. Remove washers.
10. Make sure that no communications disturb to extraction of the power unit, secure with the help of the assistant and start to deduce accurately assemblage from an impellent compartment, trying not to cling to surrounding components, such as a reception pipe of system of release of the fulfilled gases or (at a corresponding complete set) armature of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel. Having lowered the unit on a floor / a working platform тележечного a jack, accurately take assemblage from under the car.
11. At once transfer the power unit on the assembly stand, or a strong workbench where its dismantling and major repairs will be made. |

Transmission branch
|
1. Take care of reliability of fixing of the unit at the stand / a working surface (in the latter case it is necessary to use in advance prepared wooden bars and wedges)
2. Remove a starter (the engine Electric equipment see the Head).
3. At a corresponding complete set give fixing boats and remove a plate of a cover of a flywheel with картера РКПП.
4. Give fixture (nuts/bolts) of fastening картера transmissions to the engine block. Pay attention that one of bolts is used for fastening of a basic arm of the drive of coupling removed before a cable. Trying not to incline, separate a transmission from the engine, cautiously removing from directing pins. Freely planted pins take and combine in a reliable place.
5. In case of need remove the mechanism of deenergizing of coupling, assemblage of a basket and a frictional disk (Coupling see the Head). |

INSTALLATION
|
1. If the unit partition was not made, pass at once to paragraph 4 material.
2. Slightly grease шлицы primary shaft РКПП with refractory greasing (not too be zealous in avoidance of risk of pollution of a frictional disk of coupling). Accurately press a box to the engine block, watching hit of directing pins in reciprocal apertures.
3. Establish fixing bolts / nuts and by hand tighten them.

At all it is not necessary to use fixture for a compulsory joint of a box with the engine! Make sure of density and uniformity of pressing of to each other interfaced surfaces a dome of coupling and the engine block, only after that start a tightening of fixture with demanded effort. Do not forget that one of bolts is used for fastening of a basic arm of a cable of a drive of coupling. |
4. At a corresponding complete set establish into place a plate of a cover of a flywheel and fix its bolts.
5. Get assemblage of the power unit under car redock.
6. Connect to block eyes an elevating rigging and hang out assemblage over the earth
7. By means of the assistant get the unit in an impellent compartment of the car, having provided possibility of connection of the right support. Tighten fixing bolts (or a through bolt with a nut) with demanded effort. On l models 1.3 establish in an aperture of access of the right mudguard rubber заглушку.
8. Connect the left support of a transmission - do not forget to lay on a place the plate removed at dismantling. Achieve combination of the landing labels put in the course of dismantle, then tighten bolts and самоконтрящуюся a nut with demanded effort
9. Operating in an order, the return to a dismantle order, establish into place a back support of the power unit. Tighten fixture of a support with demanded effort.
10. Disconnect an elevating rigging.
11. The further assemblage is made in an order, the return to a dismantle order. Pay attention to following moments:
a) Track correctness of a lining of plaits of electroconducting, without supposing contact of wires with rubbing or разогретыми surfaces;
b) Track correctness of a lining and reliability of fixing by collars of all hoses. Spring collars and collars of braided type replace more reliable worm or screw;
c) At connection of a rod of a choice of transfers do not forget to replace a cylindrical pin, and for fixing use a collar of worm type (the Transmission see the Head);
d) the Order of refuelling of system of cooling is described in the Head Routine maintenance (depending on engine type);
e) On diesel models after connection to ТНВД drive a cable of cold start do not forget to check up and adjust system of cold start.
12. At primary engine start check up all pipelines, hoses and joints of components on presence of signs of leaks of air, cooling liquid, oil and fuel.
