1. Open a cowl and enclose rags under both its corners for the purpose of protection of a paint and varnish covering кузовных panels.
2. A marker lead round the loopy laths fixed on a cowl.

3. Ask the assistant to take a cover and turn out bolts of fastening of a cowl to laths of both loops. Throw off washers, then accurately remove a cowl from the car.

4. Attentively examine loops on presence of signs of deterioration and easing of landing of rotary knots. In case of need make replacement (each loop fastens to a body three nuts).

1. By means of the assistant achieve cowl placing on the loops according to the labels put in the course of dismantle. Establish washers, screw and while only by hand, tighten fixing bolts. Correct position of loops according to labels, then tighten bolts definitively.
2. Close a cowl and make sure of similarity of backlashes between a cover and panels of both forward wings of the car. In case of need ослабьте loopy bolts also make necessary updating of position of a cover. Having achieved satisfactory result, strongly tighten loopy nuts/bolts and make sure of serviceability of operation of a latch of the lock.

3. Make sure that the cowl is located заподлицо with surfaces surrounding кузовных panels. In case of need the height of position of a cowl can be corrected at the expense of change of length of a finger of the drummer of the lock. As basic figure the firm-manufacturer (Skoda) recommends to adhere to value in 38 ± 1 mm. For adjustment ослабьте a counternut and, accordingly, screw or turn out a finger on the demanded size. Having achieved demanded position, fix in it a finger of the drummer and tighten a counternut with demanded effort.
