The block of cylinders

In pig-iron moulding of the block apertures of cylinders are pierced and five radical support of a cranked shaft are generated. The general view and an order of installation of components of the block of cylinders are presented on illustrations. Covers of radical bearings fasten to a block body special bolts М10. The third (average) radical bearing is persistent, perceives arising axial loadings and limits longitudinal люфт a shaft.

Cranked and intermediate shaft


The cranked shaft is forged from a steel. Necks radical and шатунных bearings are subjected careful polishing. On a forward pin of a shaft places under landing of a cogwheel of a belt of drive ГРМ and a sealing epiploon of the first radical bearing are provided. Besides cranked and distributive in the engine the intermediate shaft transferring rotation from a cranked shaft to oil and vacuum pumps is provided also.

Shatunno-piston group


Shod rods have двутавровое section and a direct cut of the bottom head. In the top head запрессована the bronze plug. The bottom head is cut in the middle and completed by loose leaves шатунного the bearing. Correct mutual position of a cover of a rod and loose leaves шатунного the bearing is designated накерненными by labels (). At installation on the engine the rod should be developed by labels () forward. The cover шатунного the bearing fastens to the bottom head bolts. In the course of major repairs performance it is accepted to make replacement of bolts of fastening of covers шатунных bearings.

Pistons are cast from an aluminium alloy and have the flat bottom with sample under the vortical chamber. At installation of new shatunno-piston assemblages it is necessary to check up size выступания pistons over a surface of the block of cylinders for the purpose of definition of a necessary thickness of a lining. At size выступания pistons from 0.66 to 0.86 mm the lining with one label is established. At выступании 0.87 ÷ 0.90 mm - with two, and, at last, at выступании 0.91 ÷ 1.02 - with three. At lining selection the size выступания each of pistons should be checked. As a starting point the maximum result undertakes.

The piston finger has floating landing. Before installation of a finger the piston should be warmed up to temperature 60°С. Finger fixing is carried out by means of two lock rings.

On a piston wall three flutes under installation of piston rings are executed. In the top flutes two are established компрессионных rings, in bottom - маслосъемное. While in service the car expansion of backlashes in locks top компрессионного and маслосъемного rings to size of 1.2 mm, bottom компрессионного - 0.6 mm is supposed. Maximum admissible lateral люфт компрессионных rings makes 0.25 mm, маслосъемного - 0.15 mm. At installation on the ring piston are developed by locks at an angle 120 ° so that ин one of locks has not appeared on an axis of a piston finger.

Head of cylinders


The general view of a head of cylinders with components клапанного the mechanism is presented on an illustration. The head fastens to the block ten bolts with heads of type TORX. The order of a tightening of bolts is similar 1.6 l described for the petrol engine.

The head cover is put on the hairpins screwed in support of a camshaft, and fastens three nuts.

The camshaft is laid in five support and settles down directly over valves. For a drive of valves pushers are used equipped with hydrojacks клапанных backlashes.

Directing plugs and saddles of valves запрессованы in a head also are among replaceable components.

Valves are established vertically and have рядное an arrangement. Each valve is equipped by two springs which rest the bottom end faces against a basic washer, and top - in a plate. The plate of springs is fixed on the valve by crackers of the cutting lock.

The camshaft cam rests against a pusher not precisely on the centre that forces the valve to turn in the course of movement.

Valves are exposed on manufacturer to special processing and additional grinding in do not require. In case of detection of defects valves (and their saddles) are subject to replacement.

The steel camshaft rotates in five bearings of the sliding which have been not equipped with replaceable loose leaves. The camshaft drive (and ТНВД) is carried out зубчатоременной by transfer. The effort of a tension of a gear belt is regulated automatically hydraulic натяжителем. Belt replacement is made after removal of the engine from the car. At belt installation it is necessary to achieve combination of labels on a cogwheel of a cranked shaft and the block of cylinders/flywheels and a coupling dome, and also a cogwheel of a camshaft and a belt cover, cogwheel ТНВД and a landing flange.

In a cast cover of a head of cylinders the mouth equipped with tightly closed carving stopper is equipped маслозаливная. From below the aperture of a jellied mouth is closed маслоотражателем. For cover fastening to a head three nuts, are used by the decorative rubber decorative rubber or plastic stoppers.

The water pump


The water pump on a design differs from used on petrol engines. The pump is established on an arm to which the case of the thermostat with a taking away branch pipe fastens.
