Removal, check of a condition and flywheel installationThe general information
The flywheel is cast from pig-iron and provides uniformity of work of the engine. Besides, the flywheel serves as a coupling support. On perimetre of a forming surface of a flywheel the gear wreath is established, the starter gear wheel is entered into gearing with which приводная at engine start.
The gear wreath is executed from a steel and tempered by a current of high frequency. A wreath напрессовывается on a body of a flywheel after a preliminary warming up to temperature 180 ÷ 200°С.
The frictional surface of a flywheel interfaced to a disk of coupling is subjected very careful machining.
The flywheel fastens to a flange of a cranked shaft by means of four bolts М10х1, which контрятся a special washer, the general for all four bolts.
All flywheels are balanced statically (the admissible disbalance leaves no more than 0.1 Nanometers). After landing to a cranked shaft dynamic balancing of a flywheel in gathering is made.
During operation of the car the back surface of a flywheel co-operating with a disk of coupling, and also its gear wreath is exposed to deterioration. Repair of a back surface of a flywheel consists in its repolishing on the special grinding machine tool with observance of necessary admissions. As to a wreath at revealing of signs of considerable deterioration of teeths or their damage, it is subject to replacement.
The worn out wreath acts in film from a flywheel by means of a press. Alternatively, in the wreath basis it is bored through one or several apertures in diameter 12 ÷ 13 mm so that the wreath has burst. Try not to damage actually a flywheel.
The new wreath before installation should be warmed up in the electric furnace to temperature 180 ÷ 200°С. The hot wreath keeps within on a flat surface, then it запрессовывается a flywheel which preliminary is better for cooling.
At removal of a flywheel from a cranked shaft it is necessary to remember, it is subjected to dynamic balancing that is why it should be established at assemblage strictly in former position - put landing labels.
