Greasing system - the general data

Problem of system of greasing is decrease in a component of a friction between internal components of the engine, their protection from corrosion, and also tap from details of surplus of heat. The scheme of system of greasing is presented on an accompanying illustration.

Oil circulation in the engine occurs as follows. The oil pump sucks in oil through маслозаборник from the pallet of a crater and submits it through the special channel to полнопоточному to the oil filter. After filtering oil moves in the main oil highway and arrives to a cranked shaft and apertures in the block in which camshaft necks rotate. On the channels provided in a body of a cranked shaft, oil arrives to loose leaves шатунных bearings.

From the main oil highway oil is brought also to the gauge-switch of pressure of oil. Through apertures in коромыслах oil is sprayed on cores of valves.

Through apertures in the top part of the bottom head of rods oil выпрыскивается on a surface of cylinders. Oil giving to a chain of drive ГРМ is carried out through apertures in a forward part of the block of cylinders.

The maslozalivnaja mouth, covers of a head of cylinders is closed by the plastic stopper equipped with a rubber sealing ring.

The hose of system of ventilation is connected to the union on a lateral wall of a mouth картера.

The pallet картера is stamped from a steel sheet. Between the pallet and the block of cylinders the sealing lining is established.

Pallet fastening to the block is carried out by means of nineteen bolts М6х20 which should be tightened with effort 7 ÷ 9 Nanometers in strictly certain order.

In the bottom point of the pallet the drain stopper with carving М16х1.5 is provided. The stopper is equipped by an aluminium sealing washer in the size 16х22.

The oil pump settles down in the bottom part of a cover газораспределительной chains. The pump drive is carried out by a gear wheel fixed on a shaft of the distributor of ignition. The pump sucks in oil through equipped with the mesh filter маслозаборник from the crater pallet.

On an illustration components of the oil pump in gathering are presented. The conducted gear wheel is planted on an axis, запрессованную in a cover газораспределительной chains. Through an aperture in a cover the pump shaft is passed, from below on which the leading gear wheel is established. In the top part of a shaft the groove intended for introduction of a shaft in gearing with shaft of a drive of the distributor of ignition is provided.

Conducted and leading gear wheels are entered into gearing with each other so that at rotation to carry out засасывание oils and its forcing in an engine highway. The height of gear wheels of the oil pump makes 20 mm.

From below pump assemblage is closed by a cover fixed by four bolts М6х20, passed also through a sealing lining.

The lining, except joint hermetic sealing, carries out also a role of the terminator axial люфта gear wheels. If at repair carrying out absence of a factory lining is found out, it can be made of a standard sheet in the maximum thickness of 0.1 mm.

If the backlash size between a cover and end faces of gear wheels of a shaft lies within 0.045 ÷ 0.158 mm, the lining can to be established at all.

To excessive growth of pressure in the engine resists редукционный the valve established in a cover of the oil pump. The basic working element of the valve is the ball in diameter of 12 mm. The ball nestles on the saddle a spring. The second end of a spring rests in шплинт. At excess by pressure of oil of value of 4 kgs/sm 2, a spring the ball slightly is compressed also departs from a saddle. Surplus of oil thus merges back in the pallet картера.

From the pump oil under a pressure arrives in полнопоточный the oil filter. In the case of the filter oil arrives through inlet apertures, preliminary having wrung out the drainage valve. Having passed through a paper filtering element, oil through an inlet aperture of the filter arrives in engine galleries.

The drainage valve is made of rubber or plastic and in addition interferes with return of oil to the pump. Thanks to such design of the filter, pressure in system rises right after engine start. At installation of the new filter on its filling with oil some time defining a delay of deenergizing of the corresponding control lamp on an instrument guard of the car is required.

The safety valve provides passage of oil bypassing a filtering element in case of infringement of passableness of the last, preventing thereby excessive increase of pressure. The valve works also at excessive increase of pressure at use of oils with the raised degree of the viscosity, used in a winter season. In process of warming up of the engine and to decrease in viscosity of oil, the valve gradually comes back in the closed position. As a whole the filter is designed and made so that to maintain pressure to 15 kgs/sm 2.

In the filter case there is the filtering element made of in special way processed paper. The paper is combined by an accordion and laid in the form of a star thanks to what in the case concerning the small size it is possible to place the big filtering surface.

Place of a joint of the case of the filter with a landing surface on the block of cylinders герметизируется by means of the rubber or plastic sealing lining planted in a special flute in the basis of the filter.

The gauge-switch of pressure of oil by inclusion of a control lamp informs the driver on pressure drop of oil with system of greasing below an admissible limit (0.3 ÷ 0.6 kgs/sm 2).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the pallet картера the engine (see Has undressed Removal and pallet installation картера the engine).

2. Give four bolts of fastening of the case маслозаборника with the mesh filter to the bottom party of a cover of a chain of drive ГРМ...

. And one bolt of its fastening to a cover of the central radical bearing. Cautiously remove маслозаборник.

3. Gear wheels can be taken at once cover removals маслозаборника. At a corresponding complete set remove a sealing lining (at assemblage it is subject to replacement without fail).

Condition check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up gear wheels and the pump case on presence of signs of deterioration and mechanical damages (type having chopped off teeths).
2. In the presence of the necessary equipment by measurement of backlashes estimate size of deterioration of axes of gear wheels and the pump case (Specifications see).
3. In case of revealing of damages and also if the size of backlashes exceeds the admissible values stipulated in Specifications, pump gear wheels are subject to replacement in gathering with a forward cover of a chain of drive ГРМ with the case of the pump built in in it. Procedures of removal and installation of a cover of a chain are described in Section Removal and installation of a head of cylinders in gathering with the inlet pipeline and a final collector.

4. Temporarily establish gear wheels in the pump case, then by means of a planeness measuring instrument (an edge of a steel ruler) and probeа лезвийного type measure backlash size between end faces of gear wheels and a pump cover. Manufacturers of the car (company Skoda) insist that the backlash should not exceed 0.1 mm. If the backlash size is close to limiting value, the case маслозаборника should be established without a lining. If the backlash is too small, it can be modified by selection of a lining of a corresponding thickness. Excess of admissible value is the certificate of deterioration of components (the case and-or gear wheels); in this case pump assemblage is subject to replacement.

5. Take шплинт from the case маслозаборника,

. Then also shake out from a nest редукционного the valve a spring and a ball. Check up the removed components of the valve on presence of signs of deterioration and mechanical damages. Landing in a nest of the valve of a new ball is carried out by means of a hammer and approaching выколотки from soft metal - try to achieve dense pressing of a ball to a valve saddle. Fill in a nest a spring and fix assemblage new шплинтом.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Assemblage is made upside-down. For time fixing of a new lining on an interfaced surface of the case маслозаборника take advantage консистентной of greasing.
2. Plentifully having greased, fill gear wheels with the axes in the pump case. Holding gear wheels, press to an interfaced surface the case маслозаборника, screw five fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort.
3. Establish into place the pallet картера the engine (see Has undressed Removal and pallet installation картера the engine).
